Our newsletter focuses on the collection for period April 2012 – September 2012. Our new committee has since begun their planning for the year to carry on the good work done by the previous committee.
There are plenty to do and we need all the cooperation and help from you, our residents to make sure we are able to carry out our duties successfully.
Collection:
As we have informed you in the last newsletter, the overall collection in USJ 11/3 for the past few months has been very poor due to many reasons. Some of you have written in to make some suggestions while some of you gave us encouragement and moral support.
As we do not want to compromise the level of security services in our area, we hope to improve the collection this time around. We are optimistic that our good sense of neighborliness will set in and right what has been wrong all these while. As good neighbors, we hope you will do your part to make this a conducive and safe place to live in.
Security Fees – due for April-September 2012
The collection for this period has started. Please do your part by making the cheque payable to “Persatuan Penduduk USJ 11/3, Subang Jaya, Selangor”. The sum is RM300 for 6 months (April – September 2012). Your contribution goes towards the maintenance and improvement of the security in our area.
Please make the payment to your new street leaders (as per the list attached). If you have any problems or need clarification, please contact any of the Committee members. Please request for your receipts upon the payment made.
We will also make some changes to the collection made. Firstly, we will be publishing the details of the payment collected so that you can check and confirm your payment made. This will be done via newsletter and also our web-site.
We will also tag the houses physically with a new sticker to notify that payment has been made for the period.
The Committee members will also be doing house to house visits during the weekends to collect the subscription.
Futsal Court:
The owner of the two bungalows which are near completion has agreed to build a new Futsal court away from the present location. The present location which is just next to his compound is not suitable as the ball can easily be accidentally kicked into it by the players which resulted in unnecessary conflict between the owner and the players.
As the owner will bear the full cost of building the new Futsal court, complete with fence and also lighting, the Committee has agreed to his suggestion to move it to a more suitable location in the playground.
Once the new court is built, the old court will be demolished and landscaped with grass and trees.
Application for the shift is now underway and permission is now being sought from MPSJ. Once they agree to have the court shifted to another location, construction on the new court will commence. It is expected to take 4-8 weeks to fully complete and commission the new court.
At the time of writing this article, permission has since been granted by MPSJ to have the court shifted to a new location. We will now work towards having the court constructed as soon as possible.
Family Day:
The planned family day which is scheduled to Saturday May 19, 2012 is confirmed. We have plenty of food, fun and games for everyone.
Food that are going to be served that evening include Mee Goreng, Fried Kwee Teow, Nasi Lemak, Satay, Roti Canai, Soya Bean drinks, Cendol and much much more.
There will be a clown to entertain the kids and movies for the children.
Prizes worth some RM2,000 for lucky draws include compact cameras, hampers and electrical appliances are up for grabs. You certainly do not want to miss out on such amazing prizes. To qualify for the lucky draw, please fill in the form attached and bring it to the Family Day. Each household will be entitled to one prize (if your form is picked from the lucky chest).
Only households that have paid in full for the month of March – September 2012 qualifies. To qualify for the lucky draw, please ensure that the details are filled in properly in the form attached, bring it along to the party and drop it into the box.
So, come join us for this once-a-year get-together for our ‘kampung’ folks. There will be plenty of food and fabulous items for lucky draws. Don’t forget to mark your calendar and bring the whole family!
