Attempted Break in at USJ 11/3L

Saturday 5 May 2012

At round 7.30 pm yesterday evening, 2 men (one tall and one medium height) of Middle Eastern origin tried to break into the home of Mr. Wong at ##, USJ 11/3L. They managed to break the lock at the outside gate and tried to crack open the window, in the process the alarm went off.

Mr. Wong and family were out of the house for dinner.

The alarm caused the thieves to panic and wanted to abort their plans. At the same time, Nicholas and his dad Mr. Yap were just passing that street (as they are from USJ 11/4) noticed the two men behaving suspiciously. They immediately notified our guards and they came to the scene immediately.

By then, the thieves already fled on foot. We alerted the police who subsequent came to the scene to investigate. Mr. Wong too, came back to the house as well after getting the alert from our Street Leader for 3L. He was very glad that the thief’s attempts were not successful.

It seems we are far from being safe from such heinous crimes, so be careful and take extra precaution when you leave your house vacant for a few hours. You can inform our guards so that they can pay extra attention to your home.

Be safe everyone.
