After the Resident's Meet...

Dear Residents,

You must be wondering what had happened to all the 'committee' members - who had made all sorts of pledges and claims but have since been very quiet! Well, our apologies, as work kind of got in the way. Okay, let's start updating you - firstly with the meetings planned.

Our Chairman, P.H. Ng, is going to be calling for a meeting for all the committee members soon. It will be held at an approriate time to allow as many of the members as possible to attend. At the same time, some of us were either receiving calls of thanks and emails as well. We are very encouraged by your response and we pledge to do our best. Thank you!

We now have a very 'loose' committee but eventually, we plan to have sub-committees to look into different things such as Social and Sports, Elderly, etc. For one thing, it will lighten up the load of the work needed and the other is to try and engage as many of you as possible while creating the activities for the residents and the families of USJ 11/3. We would like to have a community that we could be proud of!

So, do watch out for more updates here.

Last Tuesday night, Gan, Eng and myself joined in a meeting conducted by the RA of USJ 6. They were having a meeting with the new councillors of MPSJ to resolve the on-going tussle with the developer, who had planned to build a multi-storey commercial building on the land next to the Telekom building in USJ 6.

Anyway, our objective was to get to know our five new councillors who were there for the meeting. We have plans to engage them at some stage, to help us out in our (similar) plight on the development of the small plot of land in the playground of USJ11/3. When and if we get the chance, we will post their names here as well so that you as a resident here will know who is who as far as our councillors are concern. We also had a chance to meet some of the committee members of the Subang Jaya RA. They were all very willing to help us should we need it sometime in the future. To that, we say thank you in advance.

As for the eleven trees that was planted, I must say, you neighbours are fantastic. The trees are being watered everyday! Well done to whoever is doing it so diligently and thank you. Please keep that going. And while you are at it, please remind the kids playing on the basketball court to:

1. Not throw the rubbish everywhere, as there are dustbins readily available
2. Not park their bicycles too near the court as they may accidently run into it during their game and hurt themselves.

Also, I would like to let you know the results for the polls that I have done about the "Concerns for security". Although there were only about 20+ response, the overall poll is 97% of you who are very concern about the security in our area. And rightly so, as the crimes reported have continued to rise in our area. In fact, I did receive another report of thef from Ken which I will have posted onto this blogsite later for you to read.

Lastly, if you are keen to help out on this blog, please send me an email and I will set it up so that you can have access to it. I already have a volunteer and his name is Michael. I will have him added on as one of the authors and you will soon be able to read about his rantings soon.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Salam Sejahtera,

I read your flyer, plan or proposal to close / block the Jalan USJ11/3A exit and entrance, today in my mail box.

I DO NOT AGREE to any plan to close or block the only exit from USJ11/3A.

This is the only exit and entrance I and the other fellow residents of 11/3ABC etc use to get to work especially those who exit USJ via the LDP, and for my daily prayers etc.

Using the alternative exit is not convenient for some or most of the residents in 11/3A, B or/and C

As much as I appreciate the effort and initiatives by the 11trees team and the concern on robberies etc, closing / blocking the 11/3A exit is not the solution.

The increase in petrol and the cost of living do not make it easy for me to make a long term or ongoing contribution for the cost of a gated community in USJ11/3.

I help initiated the back lane gate but the nasty experiences I had with one of the resident deter me from being involved in such venture.

I am sorry for not being cooperative but I wish to make it very clear that .... I DO NOT AGREE THAT MY USJ11/3A EXIT BE BLOCKED OR CLOSED.

Thank you for the opportunity to voice my concern.

I believe that there may be other residents of 11/3ABC who may not or will not agree to close / block the 11/3A exit and entrance.

Yours respectfully,

Ahmad Fuad

Dear 11trees @ USJ

Thank you for your flyer.
Our home is very close to the 11/3A exit.

Please DO NOT block the 11/3A exit.
It is our corridor and passage to work and to our children's home in USJ.

Closing the exit will mean traffic jam right in front of our door step, before we even get to start our car.

I am sure our neighbors are also concerned with the flyer you drop.

Please do not close the exit.

Terima Kasih

My name is Chan, and I live very near to the USJ11/3A EXIT.

Please do not close the exit as it will cause a lot of inconvenience to me and my family and my neighbors.

Thank you

Hello 11trees@USJ

Our home is right in front of the 11/3A exit.

We do not agree with your plan to close this exit, unless there is a sentry guarding the exit and a fence be put up, in USJ11/3

Do not close OUR 11/3A exit as it will cause traffic congestion and create smog and pollution.

Thank you

Dear USJ 11 Fellow Residents

Have you all read the 11trees@USJ flyer last sunday?
It seem that the 11trees@ USJ are planning to close our 11/3A exit without the residents approval.

Surely they cannot close or block the 11/3A exit without consulting the residents nearby who use the exit daily.

I do not agree the exit at 11/3A be closed as it will cause traffic jam and undue delay and also... increase in our petrol consumption.

Please do not close this exit. I am staying a few doors away from this exit.

Thank you

To the 11trees@ USJ

Thank you for your flyer.

We totally disagree that the USJ11/3A exit be closed.
We use this exit everyday fyi. It is our lifeline.

Please do not create any inconvenient to our fellow residents as we all are effected by the increasing cost of petrol etc.

Kepada 11trees@USJ

Saya tidak setuju sama sekali jika lorong keluar di USJ11/3A di tutup.

Ini akan menggangu jadual dan perjalanan bas sekolah anak saya pada setiap pagi.

Tolong jangan tutup exit 11/3A

Yg benar

Hi

Offer a soution when you said , No to the gate. That is perfectly true.

In this situation, if you suggest a sentry / guard house at 11/3A exit, you will be expected to contribute.....If you can afford it.

Having a sentry and boom gate is not as effective as a fenced parameter like USJ16

They are geographically suitable for such control
Their entrance is a parallel road with one for in and one for out. Perfecto. Their shop houses is seperate entrance.

USJ5 has no shop house.

If an outsider want to pop into 11 trees at midnite
to buy a pack of cigarettes, what is stopping them?

I take shortcut through USJ5 sentry near MPSJ
They don't even look at me and let me go.
Sometime they wave, sometime they were talking .

If we have one sentry opposite Taipan, imagine the traffic mess esp when that entrance road is narrow unlike USJ16

Please note their backlane gates were sponsored by Dato KS Nijar when he was in office.

I can understand and appreciate a lot of outside cars are parked along the road opposite Taipan at the expense of security etc, but .... MPSJ has to do their part to control.

Thank you for reading this coretan.

I too stay at USJ11/3A, and use that exit/entrance many times every day. I agree it will inconvenience us but seriously I think it's well worth it in the interest of SECURITY!.

TQ!.

Dear Residence of 11/3A,

From the comments I read, it seems that the exit or entrance at 11/3A is heavily used. As such I think the amount of polution in this road will be quite high further more with more traffic, don't you think it will be more accident prone? I guess we choose convenient over health and safety.

Dear Residents,

Thank you for your kind comments. If you have read the later threads on this blog, we have mentioned that the plan is at its very early stage and subject to a lot more deliberation.

Rest assured, we will take your views into consideration. Please give a chance if we were to ever make security a top priority. Anyway, we do not plan to block the entrance permanently. If at all, it will be done at strategic time, for e.g., from 10 pm to 6 am or something in that order.

It is still in its planning stage so please do give us your views and feedback. And that should be two ways as we would like you to listen to us as well.

Thank you all.

On behalf of the Committee.
