Robbery at USJ 11/5

Saturday June 13, 2009

Three robbers broke into a home in USJ 11/5 at around 5 a.m. last Saturday morning. They managed to disable the alarm and broke into the house while the occupants were fast alseep.

They tied up the occupants, ransacked the house and took away all the valuables with them. They even drove off with both cars belonging to the occupants.

This was reported to the Police, our YB ADUN and YDP of MPSJ. Please be on alert at all times and not take our security and safety for granted.

The small gates which are scattered at various part of the 11/3 fence, are normally left ajar. These are indication to the would be robber or snatch thief that these are entrance and escape route for them, can the security guards on patrol close them whenever he sees one which is opened? Also, is there a time (after 11pm??) where the small gates would be locked? it is sad that resident who opened the gates don't even bother just to close them.

It is really an eyesore to see these small gates being left ajar.Just don't understand some people. They can opened and closed their house gates but why can't they just close back these small gates after opening it.
Does it take so much energy and time to close back the gate???Malaysians...it's normal. We can have 1st class facilities but our 3rd class mentality spoils everything...let's change and cooperate, ok?

I walked through one of the small gate and has realised why the small gates are not closed after going out. It is because the contractor did not do a good design. Apparently, no opening was allowed in the gate for the hand to pass through the chain link to close the staple which is on the inside. I have also notice some of the chain link of the gate is slightly damaged probably by resident who want to open the gate from the outside.
