This is to inform all that an assault took place at our guard house this morning round about 4.30am.
The following is based on the guards description of the incidence:
4 persons on 2 bikes, identifying themselves as policemen, came to the guard house. One of them frisked the guard on the pretext of searching for drugs.
When he wanted to take the guards watch clock, the guard resisted. The 4 persons then assaulted the guard on the face and body with sticks…
In the process of protecting himself..he was hit on the forearm which resulted in a fracture of the forearm. They stole his watch and handphone, radio and the guard watch clock.
This incident has left the neighboourhoood security committee quite alarmed. A police report has been made.
For those neighbourhoods which have guards on duty, pls take necessary precautions to avoid such incidences.
Will keep the community updated on any further developments.

Dear residents and commitee members,
With current economic down turn in our country, the crime rate is going to climb. The inaccurate reports against our g&g in the three local dailies, week after week has the tell tale sign of certain radical element is at work behind the scene. We as the resident must stand united as ONE to fight this evil forces that goes against our g&g, another word, our safety. Ensuring that all the residents receiving information about our community is utmost important criteria for us to stand united and speak with one voice. From the 'get to know your community' gathering recently, it seem that many residents are not aware of the gathering or may be some of them do not bother about it. The need to dissipate the information to all the residents in the shortest time possible is also our primary concern. As soon as we are able to 'link' to all the residents, there is nothing that we cannot do or solve.
