I'm a resident at 11/3k and i fully support the security project. however today, sept 28th(sunday) i notice that the roads r no longer blocked as it should be and the drums are not put to use, which brings the whole security project back to zero. i enquire about this with the security personnel and they said that it is due to some protest from the business owner from the shoplots.
here i would like to state the reason i fully encourage the security project, beside the safety reason, is to reduce the flow of vehicles in the 11/3 housing area, especially the road along 11/3k. whole day long there r plenty of non- 11/3 residential cars passing by to and fro. this creates alot of dusts and polution and also inconvenience for the residents. it is rather dangerous for us especially children to cross the road, furthermore this road is just beside of the field where residents go there for a stroll or other recreational activities in the morning/evening.

hence i would like the committee members to consider re-enforcing the road blockages, not just at night, but whole day long(permanent). thank you.

Dear Mr. Ng and all,

Yes, you would have noticed that some of the drums were removed. But this is not permanent as the shop owners (only 2 of them) had complaint at the MPSJ yesterday. Some of their officers came and asked us to remove it pending a discussion and solution to the problem. They have informed the shop owners that we have got approval to set up the gated and guarded area in USJ 11/3.

Rest assured, we will address this problem. Please bear with us, as this is the second day of which we are running this service. We expect more issues to crop up but we will keep working on it until it is all resolved.

We thank you for your understanding and patience.

Best Regards,

The Committee

Excellent job to all concerned! Although it was an uphill climb, we are nearly there! I am sure those participating will gladly bear the fine tuning process.

For those non-participants.....live in peace on other peoples' expense!

Dear Jo,

We are working vary hard to resolve the issues at hand. Of course, the owners of the shops were very emotional about the blockage as they are not fully aware of the layout, etc.

We have already engaged with them and we will try to rope them in into the scheme so that they become part of us instead of objecting our plans. That is the approach for now.

Thank you all for your patience and support, improvements will certainly be the order of the day. Do give us the opportunity and time.

every successful change with be preceded with resistance from some blockers. Do stick to the change agenda and the objective of achieving a secured and safe nighbourhood. Fully support the committee to take a engaging and consultative approach w/ the blocker. Be polite but firm on the stand on the objectives. You shall have the support of the majority.
