From the desk of our Chairman

Dear Residents,

It was our first anniversary celebration and almost one thousand of you turned up for the event. Your presence was totally beyond our expectations and was so overwhelming that it has in some ways transformed the event into a carnival!!

The committee too, deserves a pat on the shoulder for organizing such a wonderful party for all our neighbours.

And indeed, it was extremely pleasant to see many neighbours interacting with each other, chatting, indulging and enjoying a night out with the community. This is certainly in line with our Resident Association's core objective in promoting goodwill among the neighbours besides addressing the more pressing and serious security issue.

The Resident's Association is also very much involved in promoting a healthy lifestyle among the youth through sports events and are also looking into ways to improve the facilities for the senior citizen to carry out their exercise routine and building friendship among their neighbours in their age group for a better quality life.

Soon, we will be embarking on greening our community park and organizing more gotong-royong activities to clean up our surroundings to get rid of mosquito breeding grounds and to create a more vibrant and cleaner environment for our area.

All these benefits and goodness enjoyed by the residents now are spill-over effects from the initiation and setting up of the Resident's Association within our community which started out of a need to address our safety some twelve months ago.

I wish to thank all the residents, the committee members and supporters for their kind assistance without which it is impossible to achieve a task in this magnitude.

Again, many thanks to all of you for being part of our communty, our kampung...!
