TERIMA KASIH!!

Dear Residents,

Thank you for making time to come and join us for the first anniversary celebration and making it such a great success. We truly hope that you and your family members have enjoyed yourselves.

We came to know that the food ran out faster than we had anticipated. And the expected crowd of about 300 swelved to more than 1,000! This was beyond our expectations and we do apologise if there are shortcomings in the food department.

The fact of the matter is, we believe there were residents from other areas who had come to join us for the fun filled evening. We would have been more prepared if only we knew the response was going to be so overwhelming.

Nevertheless, we have made our kampung much more a fun place to live in. And towards that end, we look forward to more of your support when we plan for future programs.

As for the evening's events, we hope that the variety of entertainment put up for you such as the Karaoke session, the Fire-dance performance by a few of our USJ 11/3 boys, the clown and of course the screening of the animated film and Michael Jackson's concert were enough for the night.

The committee members have never seen such a huge crowd before at our community event and it was encouraging to see all the different people from different cultures enjoying a night of fun together. There were even some who brought their own mats for a picnic! And the weather was very kind to us as well with a fine night and light breeze blowing all the way.

We had contributions from the office of YB Hannah Yeoh and YB Loh Gwo Burne - thanks. Also thank you to all the generous sponsors like Public Bank, OCBC, HSBC, CIMB, Berry's cakehouse, Sentral Guard S/B and a few of our residents for your kind contribution.

Also, a big thank you to the representative from MPSJ, Encik Azman, Tuan Loi, Chief Inspector of Police for USJ, YB Loh Gwo Burne and YB Hannah Yeoh for gracing our event.
